Wait, is this a Moog Song Producer ???
Ok.. today a kind reader sent a link of a Moog Song Producer being sold in Ebay. Nice pictures of the manual and box, not to say of the unit itself... incredible.. never seen it so clear & sharp! Thanks Thomas.
Finally we can admire how beautiful the Moog Song Producer is.. too much for simple words... and in such mint condition and with everything that came with it... it's terrible !!! we want it nowwwww!! Why didn't you tell us before putting it in ebay ??? Why..
This is going to be a tough week indeed as there are still 6 days left for the auction to finish. ermm... and reading the description of the auction, wasn't it me that someone who said that quote ? I feel flattered.
Do not dare to bid on this or you're dead!Update: I got in touch with the owner and he sent me bigger pictures. Click to see the clearest pictures of the Moog Song Producer on the internet ever. Yeah.

a few years ago some guy was selling a ton of these on ebay. i picked one up
but i was a complete midi newb so it wasn't exactly easy to learn midi on.
i'm going to try and see if it'll work with m-64. if not i'm going to sell it. ihave all of the original pieces: moog song producer, cartridge port connector, manual, disk, schematics, etc. the box is a little beat up, though.

It'd be great if you scanned those manuals that come with the moog producer. That is, if you win the auction, of course, hehe...

I am parting with this peice of functional history for the sake of my band's upcoming tour, so go check it out... quite an item for either Commodore or synthesizer collectors. Make me happy I sold it, because I really don't want to part with this, I just need the cash!
Thanks, and here's the link:

It's time for someone to make use of mine. Never got round to getting a C64, and now I need to narrow my beam onto my Ataris and other stuff.

I second the suggestion of scanning the manual. The software's pretty easy to find online, but I haven't come across a manual yet. Every manual should end up online!

Came across this link at random - I've got one in a box in the garage... somewhere.
Promise I'll scan the manual if I come across it (and/or sell it to someone who would like to - I haven't used it in years: it works great, but my current keyboards tend to overwhelm it and I've got a SIDStation now... :)

To the last guy who anonymously posted on this blog that he had a moog song producer sitting in his garage in JUNE 2008, please contact me at cmjr@nc.rr.com, if you haven't already sold it by now. For the right price, I'd be interested in buying it. Thanks!
